| Teachers Forum extends support to UIET movement | | |

Jammu, Feb 17: The matter of University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) is taking new turn, as Teachers Forum has also extended support to the movement, movement led by ABVP and UIET students from past 12 days.
UIET was established under Jammu University last year in which 64 students took admission. The students' plea is that they took admission in A+ Grade University and their future is now in darkness as government has transferred UIET to Government College of Engineering and Technology, Janglote with affiliation to Cluster University Jammu which has no grading.
The authorities today remained in the state of tension in which Prof. Satnam Kour (DSW Jammu University) asked students to leave this agitation and resume their classes in GCET Janglote as they have no other choice but students stood on their demands. |
