BDO office Thakrie remains closed, people in distress

Kishtwar, Feb 17: The office of the Block Development Officer Thakrie, which was opened five months ago, is closed for the last many days due to which peoples of that area suffers a lot.
Peoples also said that even since the opening of the BDO office at Thakrie area, it didn't function properly. The employees are hardly seen present in the office and now it is locked for the last many days. They said that the area is highly populated comprising of about 20 to 30 thousand people and many villages fall under this area including Filler, mundlan, Keshwan, Mangthala, Budna and many more villages.
Peoples come from far flung villages to visit BDO office but they have to return without their work done. Sometime they go to Kishtwar city to meet BDO but again they have to return home empty hand. While talking with social activist Thakrie Ronak Singh, he also confirmed that BDO office remain closed and no employee come to open the office .
While talking to Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana about the matter of the BDO office Thakriea and about the problem faced by the public of the area. DC kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana said that he will personally look into the matter and will take strict and legal action against the employees and against the BDO Thakrie.
