Jammu, Mar 14: Advising the government to take concrete steps for immediate deportation of illegal immigrants (Rohingyas and Bangladeshis), the National Secular Forum (NSF) today threatened to launch full scale agitation against them in the year ahead. Resolution in this regard was passed in one-day 10th State Convention of the forum held at Press Club here. Another key resolution which was also passed laid emphasis on the strengthening of Health sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
The convention was held under the chairmanship of State President Dr Vikas Sharma. Large number of NSF activists attended the programme and held threadbare discussion on several important issues concerning the state, in general, and youth, in particular. Anil Kumar Singh, Incharge Operation J&K Sulabh International, was the chief guest on the occasion. While, Senior Journalists Satnam Singh, Devender Padha were among the guests of honour. On the occasion, three media persons Rahul Sharma, T R Sharma, and Yash Khajuria were felicitated for their dedicated services in the field of journalism. Besides, two NSF activists Pradeep Sharma and Munish Sharma were also honoured for running Blood Helpline through Facebook. So far, they have helped more than 30 needy people through this initiative.
