Bail application of 4 accused involved in looting rejected

Jammu, Mar 14: First Additional Munsiff (Forest Magistrate) today dismissed the bail application of four accused held in the looting case at Bathindi.
Mohd Yousaf, Jaffer Iqbal, Tariq Hussain and Shah Nawaz moved bail application through their counsels which was dismissed by the Forest Magistrate.
After going through the records and arguments submitted by the learned PO Ankush Sharma appearing for state who has reiterated the grounds as given in the objection filed and advocate Sudershan Sharma and Advocate Lokesh Sharma appearing for applicants whereby he has submitted that applicants are innocent, it reveals that police have arrested 6 accused persons out of which 4 have sought for bail.
The I/O SI Rakesh who was also present during the argument stated that there are more accused persons who are yet to be arrested and evading arrest. The I/O further state that some amount has been recovered and still more cash is yet to be recovered alongwith weapon used.
The Magistrate rejected the bail application on the grounds mentioned above.
