Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 24: Panthers Trade Union J&K lambasted state government for not implementing enhanced salary of SPOs and VDCs of state. Addressing a press conference here today, Sewa Singh Bali General Secretary, Panthers Trade Union said that it was strange to say that presently SPO's are getting salary Rs. 6000/- which was enhanced from Rs. 3000/- to 6000/- by the Central Government and later on the Ministry of Home affairs has enhancement the same from Rs. 6000/- to Rs. 12000/, but the State Government has not as yet implemented the enhancement made by the Centre Government in favour of SPO's. Bali had also appealed to the Chief Minister through a memorandum seeking appropriate action under rules but no action has been taken in the said serious matter till date. He also demanded construction of Batroo, Kawalin, Ahma, Khawara, Dhardhani, Dhanmesta Runigam, Bingra, Chamal and Sharwadhar for construction of Roads on priority basis. |
