Jammu, Mar 24: British International School, Sainik Colony, Jammu, hosted its Annual Awards Ceremony for the year 2017-18 for meritorious students who performed exceedingly well in academics and extracurricular activities were awarded by the Chief Guest.
The function started with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest of the Ceremony Dr.Abdul Rashid, Commissioner/Secretary Information, Science Technology & Labour Commissioner J&K State and Gita Sharma (Chairperson of British International School).
The ceremony began with brief introduction of the event.
Following this, Chief Guest was presented a bouquet of flowers and a Memento. The toppers were honored by the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest congratulated the parents and the students.
He said, "School should emphasis on the overall development of children.
Children are the nation builders and leaders of tomorrow and as educators and citizens we need to do all we can to encourage their potential to think, create, collaborate and persist." |
