JKTF delegation calls on DSE Jammu, discusses issues of teachers

JAMMU, Mar 29: A delegation of JKTF called on Director School Education (DSE), Jammu in his office chamber here today and discussed the issues pertaining to the teaching fraternity.
The delegation led by A Q Wani, chairman JKTF and Ganesh Khajuria, state general secretary JKTF demanded adjustment of all the unadjusted promotee masters including the drop out masters of 2013 DPC and 2014 DPC, issuance of promotion orders of Class IV and Lab Assistants to the next grade by conducting and finalizing the DPC in their favour. The deputation also sought to conduct the DPC for promotion of teachers to masters which is due since last four years and to issue the adjustment of promotee Headmasters who were promoted recently.
The DSE, Jammu showed the keen interest to resolve all the issues discussed and informed the delegation that much work has been done regarding all the issues. The director assured that the final orders shall be issued at the earliest in the interest of the teaching community to provide the required staff and incumbents in the schools.
The delegation appreciated the steps taken by the new Director for streamlining the department and his initiatives for addressing all the issues being faced by the employees of Education Department which include the release of salary in favour of surplus employees and streamlining the salary of RMSA and SSA schemes.
