| PK demands national gallantry award for Martyr Deepek Thusoo | | |

Jammu, Mar 29: Panun Kashmir organised an activists meet today at Jammu to condole the demise of martyr Dileep Thusoo. The meeting besides activists from different areas of Jammu and Udhampur was also attended by Chairman Dr. Ajay Chrungoo.
While commending the supreme sacrifice of Martyr Dileep Thusoo, Dr. Ajay said that his sacrifice in upholding the national security and integrity has made all nationalists proud and he attained a place amongst the great warriors who from time to time laid sacrifices to defend the national integrity. We strongly feel and urge State and Central Government to immediately recommend his name for the National Gallantry Award. It is time to recognize the supreme sacrifices made by our valiant forces in upholding the integrity of the nation. The meeting also appreciated the visit of Director General to the martyrs house at Jagti to offer his and the departmental condolences and assurances. We are sure that the assurances made by DGP to the bereaved parents will be acted upon at the earliest.
The meeting also urged all activists, community members and the nationalist people to participate in the martyrs 10th day Kriya on March 30, at Jagti to demonstrate solidarity with the bereaved family.
The meeting ended with observance of two minute silence by the participants as homage to departed soul. |
