| IWC honours Uma Bhagat | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 29: Inner Wheel Club Jammu organized an event to honour Uma Bhagat, chairman of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and J&K. In the event 46 IWC Jammu members and dozen others special guests participated. After arrival of chairman,z IWC traditional prayer was sung followed by ceremonial lamp was put on with beating of claps. Before this, chairman and IWC team was called upon dice where chairman and president pooja malhotra were decorated with white collars. Pooja Malhotra president of IWC Jammu club gave welcome address and said that under her direction club will continue to serve the needy. The secretary gave detailed report for the activities conducted by club and announcement of new projects. Meanwhile club president handed over a cheque and study and material contributed by the club to prerna institute of rehabilitation & research run by sahyog India where disabled & special children are getting training. Speaking on the occasion after assessment of IWC Jammu activities, Uma Bhagat, said that IIWC platform give us chance to help poor and needy women. She further said let every member exert efforts being a good women ambassador. She appreciated the Jammu cub for taking up better projects in hands. |
