Day 3: Five cricket matches played in Lawyers' annual sports meet

JAMMU, Mar 29: In the ongoing Lawyers' annual sports meet-2018, on the 3rd Day today as many as five cricket matches were played.
The first match was played between Dogra XI and Umesh XI, in which Dogra XI after winning the toss chose to bat first. In its innings, the Dogra XI scored 111 runs in their quota of 10 overs. Ankush was the highest scorer with 38 runs. In reply, Umesh XI could score only 82 runs thereby losing the match by 29 runs. Varun was the highest scorer with 44 runs.
Second match was played between KC Kings and Caribbean XI, in which Caribbean XI after winning the toss chose to field first. KC Kings scored 66 runs in their quota of 10 overs. Ritesh Sharma was the highest scorer with 14 runs. Chasing the target, the Caribbean XI achieved the target of 67 runs by losing only two wickets thereby winning the match by 8 wickets. Abhimanyu Sharma was the highest scorer with an unbeaten innings of 40 runs.
Third match was played between Paradise XI and Real Dabang, in which Real Dabang after winning the toss chose to bat first. It scored 83 runs in their quota of 10 overs. Vishal was the highest scorer with 23 runs. Chasing the target, the Paradise XI achieved the target of 84 runs by losing only 2 wickets.
Fourth match of the day was the 1st Quarter Final which was played between Legal A Stars and High Court XI. Legal A Stars after winning the toss chose to bat first and scored 155 runs in their quota of 12 overs. Pranav Kohli was the highest scorer with 57 runs. In reply, the High Court XI could score only 72 runs. Legal A Star won the match by 83 runs.
Fifth Match was also a Quarter Final played between Dogra XI Vs Royal Warriors, in which Dogra XI after winning the toss chose to bat first and scored 94 in their quota of 12 overs. Ajit Singh was the highest scorer with 26 runs. In reply, Royal Warriors scored achieved the target score of 95 runs by losing 3 wickets. Royal Warriors won by 7 wickets.
