No need to talk to Pakistan' until Pak mends its ways: Kesari | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 30: The presence of militants in Sunderbani area must be an eye opener for all those who have been advocating dialogue with Pakistan knowing well that it is not India, but Pakistan that is avoiding talks by sponsoring terrorists in all parts of state through infiltration bids and by misguiding and exploiting youth of valley to joint militants group to wage war against India. This was observed by Shiv Sena Hindustan National Vice President, Pt Rajesh Kesri while addressing a press conference in Jammu on Friday. Addressing the media persons, Kesri said that government must force Pakistan to cease its support to cross-border terrorism and dismantle the terrorist infrastructure on its soil to create conducive environment for bilateral talks. There is no indication of any change in Pakistan's intent despite India's best efforts to normalise the relations," he said. Ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and International Boundary in J&K continue unabated from the Pakistani side, along with cross-border terrorist attacks by Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. "How can India resume dialogue with Pakistan under such circumstances?" Kesri asked. Lauding the army, security forces and police for fighting effectively at the cost of their lives, Kesri asked political leaders instead of issuing politically motivated statements should think of integrity and sovereignty of country first and should in one voice stand against those who are daring to challenge our country with their nefarious designs. The mood of the people, as has repeatedly been demonstrated over the last few years, is decidedly in favour of peace and a complete return of normalcy. The drive against the militants and anti national elements must now enter a decisive phase with bold and imaginative initiatives and countermeasures, he added. |
