| Swacch Bharat Abhiyan limited, only on papers: Vijay Choudhary | | | Early Times Report
VIJAYPUR, Mar 30: Swacch Bharat Abhiyan is limited only on paper as on ground it has not benefitted the poor people in border belt of Ramgarh sector in district Samba, said PDP leader Vijay Choudhary Bawa.
Ex-Sarpanch and senior leader of PDP, Vijay Choudhary Bawa said that though the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative of "Clean India" campaign is a welcome step and it has yielded positive results in several parts of the country but unfortunately the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Ramgarh has failed miserably.
He said that several families in Ramgarh under BPL category do not have toilets yet. The Swacch Bharat Abhiyan has the basic provision of a toilet in every household but in Ramgarh pick and choose policy is being adopted while sanctioning funds for the toilets on the behest of some influential persons.
The people of village Ramgarh, Nanga, Karaliyan and Jerda met with Vijay Choudhary in his office and demanded to raise the issue before the Chief Minister so that all the people residing near border get benefits under the scheme. |
