Jammu, Apr 11: Inter Zonal District Level Football Competition under the scheme "Let's play" co-branded with Khelo India Programme for the year 2018-19 of District Jammu concludes today here at BSF paloura ground.
Akhnoor Zone and Jammu Zone lifts BoysU/19 & U/16 Inter Zonal Football Championship of District Jammu under the scheme "Let's play" co-branded with Khelo India Programme for the year 2018-19 of District Jammu concludes today here at BSF paloura ground defeating Miran Sahib Zone & Bhalwal Zone respectively.
In all 610 boys drawn across from 14 Zones of Jammu District took part in the competitions. Later on, Haji Mirza Hussain Dy. Director Central Directorate of Youth service & Sports who was chief guest on the concluding ceremony distributing the trophies among the winner & runner up team.
While addressing the gathering he said that sports is only medium through which we can inculcate the sense of discipline dedication & devotion among the youths of the state. On this occasion he also praised the organizers for organizing such a mega event in a successful manner wherein, 42 teams across Jammu District took part. |
