| Vijay Saraf elected as secretary of Amar Singh Club | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 11: Well reputed businessman of Jammu Vijay Saraf was today elected as Secretary of Amar Singh Club Jammu.
Vijay Saraf having multifaceted business interests including a petrol pump, transport business and a renowned restaurant brand was today unanimously elected as secretary of the prestigious Amar Singh Club by all the elected executive committee members. The election was held in presence of Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Hemant Kumar Sharma, Vice President of Amar Singh Club.
It would be in place to mention here that Saraf was elected as an executive member of the club along with other elected members who had contested the recently held executive committee elections as team Vijay Saraf. He secured highest number of 1538 votes out of 1893 valid polled votes.
Saraf earlier served the club as secretary in the previous committee with the club witnessing unprecedented development and renovations during his tenure. The same was hailed by the members of the club today.
All the executive committee members present during the elections of the secretary of the club lauded the efforts and skills of Saraf in leading the club to the path of development. They expressed optimism that the club would achieve glory under the able leadership of Saraf. The newly elected secretary while presenting his vote of thanks assured that he would try his best to live up to the expectations of the members of the club. He said that he would work round the clock towards the development of the club. He thanked Hemant Kumar Sharma, President of the club for his vision and able guidance in daily affairs of the club.
