Jammu ready to fight, defeat all challenges, its neglect: Harsh
4/11/2018 11:39:56 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Apr 11: Expressing grave concern over the BJP's persistent surrenders over all Jammu centric issues, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and Yash Paul Kundal State President Young Panthers today appealed the people of region to awake, arise and unite to expose, oppose and finally depose the saffron juggernaut in the ultimate interests of the public.
He said that the opportunist BJP had crossed the rubicon and it was high time that it was shown the doors. He was addressing the protestors at Dogra Chowk Jammu where the party activists torched the effigy of 25 headed monster symbolizing an equal number of BJP's MLAs to ventilate the people's disgust with the mandated leaders. The party leaders thereafter held a whirlwind tour of Samba and Kathua districts and held massive rallies at Samba, Jatwal, Kootah Morh, Chappar, Bhamiyal villages. While welcoming the party leaders with overwhelming response, the people gave an impression that they were ready to face and defeat all the challenges thrown to them by the unholy BJP-PDP alliance.
Accusing the BJP partnered government for paying no heed to the women protesters observing fast unto death for the last 12 days with health condition of several deteriorating at Kootah Morh in Hiranagar, Harsh Dev Singh divulged that they were seeking transfer of Asifa Bano rape and murder case to CBI for fair and transparent investigation. He said that pick and choose detentions of the youth and harassment of innocent people by the Crime Branch of J&K Police had created an atmosphere of terror and civil unrest in the entire Hiranagar and village Rasana in particular.
Addressing the current issues haunting the Jammu province due to BJP's total failure, Harsh Dev said that the soaring influx and illegal settlement of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis in Jammu had been posing a serious demographic and security threat to the region. While lambasting the lame duck posturing of BJP over the issue resulting in massive public outrage, he said that these immigrants had been found active in fuelling narco smuggling, human trafficking, child abductions, sacrilegious acts, border crossing, etc. He added that they were also enjoying the patronage of the radical terror outfits like JeM, HM and DeM with their suspected involvement in the recent terror attack on Sunjwan Army camp.
"What happened to the much trumpeted group of four Ministers (GoM) headed by Dy CM Nirmal Singh which was constituted last year in Feb 2017 to identify the unlawful immigrants for their deportation? The Cabinet Sub Committee headed by DyCM having proved a farce due to its failure to give any output during the last 14 months, the BJP is now shamelessly talking of constitution of another commission headed by a High Court Judge to address the issue of Rohingyas. You can't befool the public by such gimmicks", said Harsh.
Smelling a deep rooted conspiracy hatched by the unholy alliance under a well devised 'divide and rule' policy Harsh Dev Singh held the Saffron party squarely responsible in particular for mishandling the situation in Nowshera. He said that they had purportedly provoked the people in Nowshera, Sunderbani and Kalakote to create a wedge between them and ultimately divest district status to Nowshera which had been a coveted demand of the people since decades.
