| GLSPS organises "Rendezvous" | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 28: G L S Public School and French Club Jammu organized the first episode of "Rendezvous", the program in which eminent personalities of Jammu, who have earned name and fame in their respective fields, visit the school along with the French Club Jammu Team and interact with the students of the school. This program forms a part of school's Life Skills Reach (Realizing Educational and Career Hopes) Classes. Today's guests were Aaditya Bhanu and Pawan Verma. Both the dignitaries are the theatre actors from Jammu itself. Bhanu joined professional theatre group in 2009 and till date he has acted in more than 100 plays and directed 30 full length plays and 100 short plays. Pawan Verma participated in "Year of India in Russia" cultural festival in Moscow in 2009 and Frankfurt International Theatre Festival, Frankfurt, Europe 2009. Verma has experience of more than 15 years and he was honoured by Dogri Sanstha and Reliance Communications for great contribution in theatre. Arun Sharma, President of French Club Jammu presided over the function. The guests shared their valuable experiences with the students. Gurpreet Singh, Administrator, G L S Public School presented vote of thanks. He thanked Verma and Bhanu for sparing their valuable time and meeting the students and sharing their valuable experiences. He, along with Arun Sharma, presented mementoes to both the dignitaries. Sharma presented a copy of French Club's recently launched calendar to G L S Public School. |
