Jammu, Apr 28: Government Girls Higher Secondary School Canal Road Jammu facilitated the meritorious students who of the brought best Board results for the school in the recently declared Board result of 12th Class. The overall result percentage for the session 2017-18 is remained 75%. The result of science Stream remained 68.2% Commerce Stream 94% and the Arts Stream 60%. Speaking on the occasion Madam Sushma Koul Principal also appreciated the efforts of the staff members for maintaining and uplifting the academic standard of the school. She advised the parents of the students to encourage and guide the other parents to send their wards to the Govt. schools. As we have started the provisional admission process. "The hard work done by the parents and the staff to uplift the academic standard", she said and added that the Students of this school are progressing every field of life and this time there is an increase of 10% in the result percentile. A record number of 36 distinctions are bagged by the students of the school. In Science Stream Miss Priya Angral bagged highest marks with the percentage of 89% .And second topper is Ritika from commerce Stream with the percentage of 88% and third topper Sarvjeet Kour with percentage of 83%. |
