NCC ATC Camp enters 7th day

Jammu, May 7: As a sequel to the ongoing activities in the ATC-J1, Camp two lectures were conducted in the camping ground of NCC in addition to other regular exercises including firing and drill by the cadets. The first lecture was delivered by Asstt Prof Rashu Sharma from the Department of English, Govt MAM PG College.
She talked extensively about Sanitation and Personal Hygiene and it's role in the lives of budding Cadets. Her lecture equipped the cadets with the basic principles of sanitation and hygiene to be adopted by everyone in order to make India a developed and healthy nation. She reiterated that personal hygiene should be adhered strictly in order to abstain from disease vulnerability and victimization of infections and flues. Next lecture was delivered by Prof Sushma Chib from the Department of Mathematics, Govt M A M College, in which she develed over the significance of Mathematics in a lay man's life and how mathematical knowledge is instrumental in building our characters and personifies. She brought to fore the nuances associated with learning Mathematics and guided the cadets to take substantial measures in order to make learning mathematics an enjoyable experience.
The encouraging words of Dr Sangeeta Sudan, Co-ordinator NSS for Cluster University, Department of Chemistry, Govt MAM PG College, marked the end of the brainy retreat of the cadets. She applauded the NCC Unit for providing such knowledgeable experiences to the Young Minds of India. Finally, the Camp Commandant felicitated all the guest faculty from Govt M A M College for providing vibrant and highly informative sessions to the cadets.
Capt Dr Karan Singh and SM Pratap Singh presented mementos to all the guests present on the occasion while other officers who were present on the occasion included Capt Arunesh Kumar, Lt N C Jamwal, 1st off Chaman Chodhary, 3rd off Narinder Raina, 3rd off Zahira Abass, 2nd officer Pawan Kumar.
