Unauthorised absence amounts to loss of appointment under article 128 of CSR

Kishtwar, May 11: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana on Friday withheld salary of five teachers of Government Middle School Kiyar Dacchan and Government High School Changer Marwah, as they remained absent from their duties and whereabouts of them is not known due to which the students are suffering badly.
The action came after receiving several complaints from the public of Kiyar Dacchan through one Anil Kumar Parihar and others in which they mentioned that there are seven teachers out of which only one teacher namely Lokesh Thakur is attending his duties very well.
However, the following teachers remained absent from their legitimate duties and whereabouts of them is not known due to which the students are suffering badly of their no fault.
The absentee teachers included Rahul Parihar, Jyoti Balla, Mashqoor Ahmed and Akhtar.
"In the backdrop of above facts, the CEO Kishtwar is hereby directed to conduct an in depth enquiry into the matter and recommend the stern action against the defaulters if found any as warrented under article 128 of CSR "which reads that unauthorised absence of government employee amounts loss of appointment".Till the completion of pending enquiry the salary of the afore mentioned teachers is kept with held with immediate effect", the order of Mr.Rana reads.
Meanwhile, on the intimation of SDM Marwah who has received several complaints from general public of Changer Marwah about the unauthorised absence of one Master Sajjad Hussain Tapal of Government High School Changer Marwah a surprise visit was made by the SDM to the said school where the above mentioned master was found absent from his legitimate duties and has not resumed/joined his duties since opening of School after winter vacations.
In the above context, the CEO Kishtwar is directed to conduct an indepth enquiry into matter and recommend the stern action against the defaulter if found any as warrented under article 128 of CSR.
"Till pending enquiry the salary of aforementioned master is kept withheld with immediate effect," the order of DDC Kishtwar reads.
