Now Mirwaiz runs Kashmir admin, Babus rush to Nowhatta on his mere tweet
5/16/2018 12:12:12 AM
Early Times Report

Jammu, May 15: Yet again showing its "loyalty" towards the separatist camps, the Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday instantly sent a high level team of officials to Nowhatta lest Hurriyat (M) Chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq feels displeased.
On May 14, morning the Mirwaiz tweeted much like that "His Excellency" was not satisfied with the civil administration towards Jamia Masjid Nowhatta affairs.
"Held an Auqaf meeting to take stock of preparations for holy month of #Ramadhan .Civil admin totally defunct especially the SMC! Total apathy towards #JamiaMasjid and its surroundings, even basic amenities not available! Why such apathy and callousness I ask?" Mirwaiz tweeted.
As if the tweet from the anti-India stooge was a royal edict that the Housing and Urban development ministry sent a high level team of officials to the area within minutes.
Sources said apart from the Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Riyaz Wani, several other senior officials visited the area, which is otherwise seen a hotbed of "anti-India" sentiment.
Senior officials in the Civil Secretariat questioned the way the government reacted "like a slave" to the allegations leveled by the pro-Pakistan lobby.
When a common man in Jammu and Kashmir makes similar complaints, his voice remains unheard for years but here the government couldn't refrain from pleasing the Hurriyat within minutes.
Interestingly, the Housing and Urban Development ministry which sent its team of officials to Nowhatta is headed by the Bharatiya Janta Party.
"When the ministry headed by BJP is so loyal towards the farmaan of the anti-India lobby, the loyalty other parties towards the Hurriyat can only be imagined," said a senior official.
Sources said some senior officials subsequently requested Mirwaiz supporters in Jamia to convince him that his grievance has been redressed in a speedy manner by the government.
Despite repeated attempts the concerned couldn't be contacted for comments.
