Samba, May 16: A meeting of Water Works (PHE) Employees Association, District Samba was held in which various demands were discussed.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Shiv Kumar Sharma, Provincial President of the association to take stock of the problems of PHE employees, besides new president was announced for division Samba.
While highlighting the demands of PHE workers including daily wagers, need base, CP. Workers, land donors etc. Sharma said that they have not been paid their salaries regularly. They are facing lot of hardships with regard to feeding their family members and providing fee for the education of their children. He urged upon the Govt. to explore all possibilities to pay wages regularly to these employees. He also demanded regularization of all daily wagers, need base, CP workers, land donors and ITI workers , besides department promotion be held twice in a year.
Other who spoke on the occasion include Ajay Sharma, Balbadar Raj, Joginder Kumar, Kuldeep Raj, Harbans Raj, and Sham Lal. |
