Confrontation in ruling party leaders reason for absence of Rajouri mini-sect : Jan
5/19/2018 11:33:45 PM
Early Times Report

Rajouri, May 19: Terming confrontation between legislators and leaders of ruling BJP and PDP as a reason of absence of vital mini-secretariat in Rajouri, Youth wing of National Conference today accused state government for playing with the lives of masses by delaying construction of residential quarters in district hospital Rajouri which is a main health institution in entire Pir Panjal region.
Addressing a press conference in Rajouri Press Club, Youth NC Provincial President Ajaz Jan said that 'Mini-Secretariat' is a vital institution and ensures easy approach for masses and proves vital in improving work culture also. " It is unfortunate that mini-secretariat in Rajouri is yet to see light of the day and everyone knows that confrontation between ruling party leaders is the reason leading to this delay " Jan said.
He also said that during recent outreach programme of Chief Minister in Rajouri, when time was appropriate to end this delay, ruling party leaders played such role which led to suspension of threadbare discussion on this issue to bring a final consensus on construction of this vital institution.
Taking a dig at state government, Jan said that ruling party leaders are claiming that water supply network has been upgraded in Rajouri but situation has turned worst on ground in last three years and even at this moment, people living in most of the area's are without water and PHE Department is remaining on failure side to deal with the crisis and some senior officers also remain unavailable for people.
Commenting upon process started by state government for upgradition of schools across state, Jan said that only two high schools and two higher secondary schools will be upgraded in each assembly segment which is not more than peanuts and government should raise this quota atleast to ten schools per segment and especially in hilly and far flung areas.
Others including NC leader S. Nirman Singh, Youth NC Provincial President Mati Ul Rehman, Naheem Bhat, Sharaz Malik and others were also present in this press conference.
