| Women killed in road mishap | | | Early Times Report
Vijaypur, May 19: A woman was killed in road mishap at Barian near Hanuman Temple in district Samba here today. The victim has been identified as Biro Devi (50) wife of Ashok Kumar resident of Shahpur Kandi Pathankot. According to the Police Sources, at around 2 pm the mishap occurred at Jammu Pathankot National highway near Barian in District Samba when a Tata mobile bearing registration No JK08E- 9971 coming from Vijaypur side when reached near Barian suddenly the driver lost the control and vehicle hit with a motorcycle bearing registration No PB35Y- 3543 who stand in the road side resulting she was critical injured and shifted to District Hospital Samba for treatment where doctor declared her to brought dead and the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of District Hospital Samba for autopsy. While talking with in charge Police post Officer Supwal Javaid Kataria said that Police has arrested the driver and seized the vehicle. |
