| 19 year old murdered by elder brother | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 28: A 19 year-old youth was allegedly murdered by his elder brother over a petty issue at village Kangar in Kot Bhalwal area.
The deceased has been identified as Joginder Singh (19) son of Bhalwan Singh of village Kangar of Kot Bhalwal.
Police said that last night Balbir who is elder brother of Joginder had some arguments with his elder brother identified as Balbir Singh and the arguments turned into scuffle following which Balbir attacked Joginder with dagger at his head resulting in severe injuries.
Police sources said that after the incident the accused managed to escape from the spot.
Joginder was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where he was declared as brought dead.
Police registered a case under FIR no. 51/2018 under section 307 of RPC which was later converted into 302 of RPC after death of Joginder. Police is conducting raids at various places to nab the absconding accused. |
