Early Times Report

Kishtwar, June 11: The people of remote village Ganayan of Dachhan Tehsil falling under Education Zone Marwah today approached the Deputy Commisoner Kishtwar and demanded immediate detachment of the two teachers of Middle School Ganayan who are attached to Middle School Dachhan and Primary School Chicha Dachhan.
The villagers added that due to non availability of staff in the school, the education of the students studying has suffered a lot.
The DC directed the CEO to look into the matter.
Speaking to Early Times, Mohammad Iqbal said that one Teacher Jewan Lal is working on deployment basis in Government Middle School Dachhan having strength of only 25 with 11 teachers working in the school on regular basis while another teacher Rita Devi is attached in Primary School Chicha with student strength of 10-12.
He added that the student strength in Middle School Ganayan is very high (60-70) as compared to these school. He said that despite the government having issued detachment order in 2017 & also last month by CEO Kishtwar, both the teachers have not been received by the concerned school as a result of which the school is badly suffering.
He urged upon the Education Minister Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali to look into the issue and requested the CEO to get the detachment order implemented in letter and spirit.
It is pertinent to mention that more than 200 teachers/master gardes from far flung areas are attached in Kishtwar city and adjoining schools as a result of which the Education system in rural areas of Kishtwar District has crippled . Even though Government and CEO order detachment of all the attached teachers, but same fails to implement on ground due to direct interference of the politicans and it is to be seen whether the fresh detachment order issued by the CEO will be implemented on ground or it will too fall to political apathy at the cost of poor childrens of rural areas of Kishtwar District.
