The plight of counterpart tourist lake one in Jammu region Mansar having dryness and inefficient measures including the deaf and dumb approach concluding wings of caretaking like Surinsar- Mansard Development Authority and surmounting Range Forest Office cum wildlife at the same place.
Running time have summer vacation and the festival of "Do Massa" running at the twins having rush of the school children and other general tourists across the corner of the state and country. Unfortunately the scarcity of water beneath causing the numbness to the endangered fishes and turtles from which turtle are scaring out in number than lastly there available. The reason of their disappearance may be the intoxicating effect which is causing due to the ill-defined drainage system there along with the lake sides. Due to which effect the turtles are rendered scars in number as they are quite sensitive and their life span is more than 150 years. Meanwhile they complete their locomotion cycle by laying the eggs outside the water banks and on having any intoxicating effect in the water they used to move towards an alternative place also. As there is need of proper drainage system in order to maintain the hygienic water balance for the species of water therein the lake which may be reason of decreasing the turtles also.
Alas! No one in the view to asses such configuration of the lake for restoration of balance of nature growing with neat and purity of water as well environment surrounding the lake. How amazing one may if visits the spot at this "Do Massa" festival where people across the region are coming to take holy bath. As per locals and some tourists of the spot in view that it is a nominal tourist spot which is visited so on the berg of its holiness and sacred quality whereas as per the beauty aspect it may have lost all such amazing qualities which a tourist spot should flourished with. They are in the view that this might happened yet after the region demarcated in the Udhampur district for administrative aspects in which number of other tourist spots are already available like Man- Talai, Sudh- Mahadev, Patani- Top, etc. Therefore to manage a huge aspect of tourism may ever be a tumultuous task for it, while it was not so happened when it was affiliated to the samba district which may have only one such picnic spot and used to pay with good focus on it as per its maintenance and developmental aspects.
The present condition of the spot not favorable to the stampede as well the people perching surrounding it. Godly subservice of this lake was not less than the might of god if we ask to people about the holy saint named as Dhudadhari Bawa who used to visit it once in a year. During past it has been linked to several myths as per the beliefs of the locals of the area. No doubt this mercy lake is suspicious for further to face with manage with better management problems during the next Dangal and Mela which used to held every year in routine on 18 June & 19June.
In other words, we can say that lake is heeding at its own fate along with filth and other garbage elements causing the species there are also sustain a huge temperament of struggle and remorseful view. Whereas there proper temperament of hygienic stuff is not cared yet at par and such a heed of the view one may discover in a little stance.
Even single window development may not fulfill the dreams of the Jammu tourist spot in lieu of sufficient grants-in aids for its nourishment, but the asleep of the caring factor have been strongly acclaimed if one may have conversation with the general tourists on the spots. The avenues of developments may flourish on the spot in plenty yet by installing the recreational facilities like fountain trekking and causing some morphological revelations there. As we all knew that it is enclaves with the hilly spots around about along with local dwellings/ mohallas like Lottley, Jassore, Sandi, Kattal, etc perching on the tips of these hilly terrains may emerge an elegant in the wake of its morphological development and view.
In-addition there emerging problem of parking also to thousands of the vehicle led tourists due to linger on the contract or tender of the parking to any private body which may settle the pattern of fare and utilize the space in a specific way. Whereas the drivers are also not pleased with the present system of parking by the department concerned.
In other words we can say that there are no. of other problems like proper cage wall along with the whole lake is not skimmed due to which any one comprising children or old person can uncertainly fall into the water while feeding the fishes with baked flour, the path all around the lake is not covered with the better canopy of the plants and trees so that there may sprawl of cooling effect whole the day. And the tourists would used to have their walks around the lake while when they intends so during the hot summers, lack of proper sitting dolmens around the whole lake due to which the tourists become unresponsive to have walk around it which affects to the market around it also.
Mean: if count the inefficiencies there may enroll a huge list some basic facilities in the kind of children recreations through government rates, sprawl of filth and other rag pieces of the paper, audible items, beverages, polythene bags, etc here and there around of the lake during rushing days like of summer vacations and other like Do Massa festival when thousands of the pilgrimages would used to visit it for having holy bath in it, bathing ghats around it are also dilapidated, lack of toilets around it, etc.
Concluding to the whole remarks we can say that the lake have rendered with its religious sanctity for the people while tourist remark has decreased in its importance due the lack of several of the basic facilities for the tourists as per religious point of view the people used to visit during Mela for having holy bath to their gods and goddesses with them and during others like Do Massa, Ambhashya, etc festivals than tourist point of view.
