| KP Sabha welcomes imposition Governor Rule | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 19: KP Sabha Jammu has welcomed the imposition of Governor’s rule in J&K in view of the escalation in violence especially during the holy month of Ramadan when a unilateral ceasefire had been announced.
KP Sabha has appealed the Governor to ensure fool proof security to the thousands of pilgrims who are in the valley in connection with the Mata Kheer Bhawani Yatra.
The Sabha has condemned the decision of the JRL to call for a bandh on the very day on which thousands of Kashmiri Pandits are on a pilgrimage to the holiest shrine of Mata Kheer Bhawani. Their hollow claims of extending welcome to the minority community to get settled down back in the valley stand further exposed. We are in favor of having governors rule in place for at least three months till the culmination of the Amar Nath yatra to ensure safety and security of the pilgrims. The Sabha has also appealed the security forces to go all out to eliminate the Pakistan sponsored terrorists and Jihadists so that peace could be restored in Kashmir to clear the way for initiating a dialogue process with all stakeholders including the Kashmiri Pandits to create a conducive environment in J&K. |
