| NSS team visit Purmandal, conducted Swachh Bharat Abhiyan | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 23: Nss (National service scheme ) volunteer visit village kharra madana of purmandal and conducted swachta internship programe.The volunteers visit door to door and aware people about various schemes of government regarding the swacht bharat abhiyan. Nss volunteer made people aware about government scheme to built toilet under swachta scheme where they get 12000 from government to build toilet in their home and also aware people not to do open defecation as it may lead to various disease and health issues and also conducted survey regarding the houses which have nit constructed toilets . While adressing the local people volunteers ask people to separate the biodegradable and non biodegradable waste and use only biodegradable material for manure purpose and non biodegradable for recycling and also ask people to install the dustbin in their home and shop. During visit of the village and talk to local, volunteers come to know that the schemes of dustbin is in the process but had not reached to the people yet. |
