Early Times Report
Jammu, June 23: Conspicuous absence of BJP's pro-PDP leader Ram Madhav during Amit Shah's rally has fuelled the rumours that BJP has ultimately decided to sideline its "self-styled over-intelligent" national general secretary who is responsible for prevailing mess in J&K in general and Jammu region in particular.
Ram Madhav, who had projected himself as intelligent architect of PDP-BJP alliance in J&K, had virtually surrendered party's national agenda just to appease PDP and separatists.
Credible sources said that despite deteriorating situation in the Kashmir Valley and growing anger against BJP in Jammu and Ladakh regions, Ram Madhav had opposed dumping PDP. "Instead of protecting interests of nationalist people of Jammu and Ladakh, Ram Madhav was more particular about continuation of coalition government in J&K", sources said and it was all due to intervention of Ram Madhav that Rassana case was handed over to the CBI.
Credible sources said that Ram Madhav was informed by BJP leaders that majority of the population of Jammu wanted that Rassana case should be handed over to the CBI because some elements at the behest of Hurriyat Conference and other anti-India groups were trying to demonize Dogras under the grab of this incident but Ram Madhav ignored Jammu's wishes and aspirations.
Sources said that Ram Madhav wanted to project himself as liberal face of the BJP and for his own image he was ready to sacrifices wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Ladakh.
Sources said that it was Ram Madhav, who had projected those who leaders who danced to the tunes of the PDP leadership and also indulged into corrupt practices.
Ram Madhav's so-called expertize on J&K was exposed when he stated that Indian Parliament has power to abolish Article 370.
