Rajouri, June 28: 14 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have been suspended in Rajouri district for dereliction of their legitimate duties by the District Election Officer (DEO) Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary on the recommendation of concerned AEROs.
Tehsildar Kotranka , Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO) informed that 12 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have failed to submit the 'home to home' data up to June 22 despite repeated messages/ calls and personal contacts. Vide his office letter No.AERO/K/12 dt 26/6/2018 he has recommended the suspensions of 12 such BLOs. On the recommendation of AERO , District Election Officer (DEO) has suspended all the 12 BLOs and attached them with the office of Deputy Election Officer (DEO) Rajouri with immediate effect for further action. Similarly on the recommendation of AERO, Darhal two BLOs have been placed under suspension and attached with the office of DEO, Rajouri. Hakeel, Majahid Hussain, Shah Hussain, Mohf Tuffail, Talib Hussain, Mohd Farooq, Bharat Bhoosan (all Gram Rojgar sevak), Zameer Ahmed (teacher) all from Kotranak and Mohd Ashrif, teacher & Ghulam Rubani (PHE department) from Darhal constituency. |
