DODA, June 28:United Cricket Club (UCC) Bhaderwah outplayed New Siraj (NS) Doda by 5 wickets in the ongoing All India 14th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2018 at Sports Stadium Doda.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by 10 Rashtriya Rifles Unit Doda and J&K Bank. Batting first after winning the toss, NS Doda scored a total of 163 runs after losing 9 wickets in its allotted 18 overs. Faizal Dev was the highest scorer who scored 49 runs while Babloo contributed 38 runs for his team. From UCC Bhaderwah, Irfan Shapoo scalped 3 wickets while Abir Butt and Jahanzeeb Aslam shared 2 wickets each.
In reply, UCC Bhaderwah chased the target of 163 runs in 17 overs by losing five wickets. Fareed Lone was the highest scorer who scored 39 runs followed by Rahul Sharma who contributed 34 runs for his team. From NS Doda, Ravinder, Gauhar, Salman Sheikh, Nasir and Rehan Dar shared 1 wicket apiece.
Irfan Shapoo of UCC Bhaderwah was declared Man of the Match.
