Udhampur, July 11:- Power Development Department is Playing with the lives of common masses in Bali area of District Udhampur.
The people of Bali have accused the Power Development Department of putting the lives of residents into jeopardy by not aligning the transmission lines on the electric poles. After the slides many Poles suffered damage earlier in said area and Power development Department with an aim to restore electricity tied wires to trees.
Butta Local resident while Talking to Early Times said that from last two years we are facing life threat due to the low height hanging electric wires on poles, he added the department has failed to erect the electric poles and the wires are hanging from trees."
As per Section 336 of Indian Penal Court it is clearly mentioned that 336 Act endangering life or personal safety of others. Whoever does any act so rashly or negligently as to endanger human life or the personal safety of others, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to two hundred and fifty rupees, or with both but who so ever care about the law .
Meanwhile While talking to deputy commissioner Udhampur Ravinder Kumar Said that he just came to know about the electric wires hanging on tree in Bali area . he added that we will instruct the concerned department that immediately erect poles and installed electric wires in proper manner . |
