Former MP criticizes PDP-BJP Government

Jammu, July 14: Madan Lal Sharma, former MP and veteran Congress leader said that PDP-BJP Govt. were the worst ever Governments in the state and it has brought all round destruction, mistrust and miseries during their three and half years rule in the state.
Addressing series of meetings at Sunderbani and Rajouri Sharma said that unholy and unnatural alliance brought worst ever religion and region divide and brought miseries to people of three regions of state because of their miss-governance. He said that the people suffered in every sphere and every field because of wrong policies of two coalition partners and raised controversies during the period on various issues.
Meetings were also addressed by Chief Spokesperson JKPCC Ravinder Sharma (Ex-MLC), Former Minister and PCC General secretary Shabir Ahmad Khan, Senior Congress Leader Iqbal Malik, Former Vice Chairman OBC Board Kuldeep Raj Verma, President DCC Rajouri Sain Abdul Rashid, Vice President PYC Satish Sharma and others.
He said that developmental projects initiated by UPA government had not been carried forward by the PDP-BJP government and all their claims on development are fake and false as has been admitted by BJP leadership recently. He said that Jammu region as a whole faced worst ever neglect and discrimination. He said that people of Rajouri-Poonch and all along border areas/LOC are the worst sufferers during the period. He asked the party workers to gear up for political process and unitedly defeat the communal and divisive forces.
Ravinder Sharma in his address Lashed out at BJP and PDP for generating controversies to serve their vested interests. He blamed PDP BJP coalition for creating an atmosphere of uncertainty in the State. He also blamed the later for vitiating social and political atmosphere also to serve their vested political interests, as a result, there was a complete uncertainty at all level in the state during the past 4 years. Describing the Congress Party, as the only secular and unifying force in the Country and state, Mr Sharma said that Congress Party has always strengthened the secularism and it will continue to safeguard the secular fabric of the Country and state.
Addressing the meetings Shri Shabir Ahmed Khan hit out at the BJP for misleading people on every count just to share power with PDP, as that, despite the contradiction in the approach of PDP BJP, the coalition partners shared power for three and half years by not caring about urges and aspirations of the people.
Others who attended the meetings included Iftqar Ahmad, Lalit Mahajan, Lovely Gupta, Shakeel Mir, Bal Krishan Sharma, Bittu Shah, Kursheed, Parmodh Jasyal, Kramat Malik, Avaidullah Malik, S. Isher Singh, Som Raj, Khalil Choudhary, S. Rajinder Singh, Iftakar Dar, Iqbal Shawl and others.
