| MGNREGA employees stage protest | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, 14 July : Thousands of highly qualified youths are working under MGNREGA flagship programme but previous Government was not serious to secure future of employees . Employees working under the flagship programme had run all the schemes pertaining to RDD & PR like MGNREGA,PMAY,SBM ,Election related ted work 13th FC,14th FC ,CDF , MPLAD , Office works etc of all the schemes and Geotagging, of all schemes .
All MGNREGA Employees Association District Udhampur working in the dilemma due to the non-seriousness of Government several times, the successive government promised and assured the representatives that their genuine demands can be fulfilled. In this regard several department committees have been framed from time to time but till date no concrete decision has been taken in written.
A week ago i.e. 7th of July 2018 a new committee has been reconstitute by Secretary To Government Sheetal Nanda via order no:- 169-RD & PR of 2018 MGNREGA employees eagerly waiting for the decision come out from this meeting will be going to held on 16" of July 2018 at Civil Secretariat Srinagar. District President Aslam Ahmed urged the present Governor N.N Vohra, and also BB Vyas, Advisor to Governor of RDD to take the concrete decision on absorption of MGNREGA Employees in RDD through proper SRO in the meeting in favour of all MGNREGA employees of RDD so that "Absorption "shall be done in the Rural Development Department, if the government has failed to frame the job policy for MGNREGA Employees or Absorption in the department they will continue their protest throughout the state. |
