Governor's admin cuts Pak stooges to size
PDP led regime treated them like 'VIPs' even in jail

Early Times Report
jammu, July 16: Since the day Governor's rule has been imposed in Jammu and Kashmir separatists and Pakistan stooges have been pushed to the wall.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "The Governor's administration has tightened its noose around the separatists and is not allowing them to call the shots anymore."
"The separatists, including Geelani, Mirwaiz and Yasin Malik, have been cut to their size. Recently Yasin Malik was lodged at Kothibagh Police Station in Srinagar for 10-days and he was treated like an ordinary prisoner," the analyst added.
He said that during the PDP-BJP regime the separatists were treated like "VIPs" even in the prison. "Soft policy followed by the PDP towards the separatists had made them believe that they are as good as the rulers and no action can be taken against them," he added.
"After the Governor's rule has been imposed the so-called joint leadership has curtailed its activities. Geelani and Mirwaiz prefer to remain confined within the four walls of their homes. Malik after being released on Saturday visited many areas in south Kashmir but he was arrested again. We have got clear cut directions that anyone who indulges in any sort of anti-national activity should be dealt with sternly," said an official.
An observer said that since the PDP-BJP government has fallen the stone-pelting incidents have declined and the henchmen of separatists have disappeared from the scene. "The trouble mongers have been told in clear terms that if they indulge in any sort of misadventure they would be booked and put behind the bars," said an official.
He said that they have been told that they should stop "bragging" about the political backing and fall in the line. "Security agencies have been given a free hand to operate and handle the miscreants in their own way," the official added.
A Kashmir watcher said, "The change of guard in J&K has helped in restoring calm in the Valley as the security agencies have been put on high alert and every suspect is being watched closely. Even the aides of the Pak-stooges have taken a back seat as they know that they are being watched."
He said, "PDP-BJP regime had given a free hand to the elements inimical to peace. The Governor's administration within a few days has proved that if the administrators are able desired results can be achieved just within a few days."
