Two found dead | | | Early Times Report kathua, July 16: Two unidentified persons were found dead on Jammu Pathankot National Highway which might be was hit-and-run case during the intervening Night of Sunday and Monday. Police sources said that a body was found at village Chack Gotta falling under the jurisdiction of Lakhanpur Police station on Jammu Pathankot National Highway on Monday early morning when some passersby noticed two persons lying unconscious on the road. Locals informed the police and after getting the information police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to District Hopistal Kathua where they were declared as brought dead. Police sources said that the deceased men were believed to be labourer and a living somewhere nearby CTM factory. Both the bodies have been kept in the mortuary of the hospital for legal formalities. A case under Sections 304 (a) (causing death due to negligence) was registered at Lakhanpur Police station against the unidentified persons and police have started inmvestigation in this regard. |
