| Youth booked for stalking SHO Women Cell Kathua | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, July 27: A Lakhanpur youth allegedly stalked the SHO Women Cell Kathua on Thursday evening inviting legal action against him. According to police, one Karan Sharma son of Kuldeep Sharma of Ward number 3, Lakhanpur chased the vehicle of SHO Women Cell Kathua, Sanjeewan Jyoti on Samba-Kathua stretch of the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway on Thursday evening.
The youth has been booked under section 345-D of the RPC at Rajbagh police station.
Police sources said to Early Times that the SHO Women Cell Kathua, Sanjeewan Jyoti warned the youth of police action several times but he didn't stop.
"Later, the officer called Rajbagh police station SHO for help he laid down the naka at Rajbagh and apprehened the accused and sanjeewan Jyoti SHO women cell Kathua lodged a written complaint against him. On the basis of written complaint, he was booked under relevant sections of the law," a police officer said.
When contacted, the parents of the accused youth denied the allegations. The accused youth however said that he only chased the officer's vehicle because the latter was playing loud music. |
