| Spread message of peace among youth :Verma | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, July 28: With a message of peace in trouble torn areas of Kashmir valley an eminent Gandhian, Padamshree S P Verma national vice president Gandhi Global Family (GGF) reached Ramban and interacted with the intellectuals of district.
On his arrival a simple but impressive function was held by the GGF district unit Ramban in which members of the Gandhian Society as well as prominent citizens of the district remain present.
While interacting with the members Verma stressed upon the need of peace and communal harmony in the state in present scenario. He said that awareness among the youths about the importance of Gandhian ideology is the solution of unrest in the valley. He further said that every person have to follow the life style of Mahatama Gandhi for a successfull and peaceful life.
Verma while praising the communal harmony across the district Ramban he said that Ramban is example of mini India as this soil had produced many gems including former Governor of Assam Thakur Devi Dass, former CJI Tirath Singh Thakur, former commissioner secretary Bashir Ahmed Runyal besides many other such people.
On the occasion district president GGF Mohammad Khalid Wani was also honoured for his outstanding contribution in the society to maintain peace across the district.
He asked the members of the Gandhian Society to spread the message of peace among the youths of the district so that the life of Gandhi Ji will became a role model for every individual. |
