| Delegation of LUB calls on BB Vyas | | | | Jammu, July 28: A delegation of Laghu Udhog Bharti J&K, Jammu met B.B Vyas, Advisor to the Governor & Incharge of Department of Industries & Commerce at Convention Hall Canal Road Jammu. During the meeting we raise the issue point to point mention below. While meeting with Advisor, the members said that in the VAT regime prior to July 2017, the J&K Industry was availing 100% VAT remission in shape of non-depositing of 100% VAT. The same arrangement was assured to the J&K Industry by the Chief Minister, Finance Minister and Industries & Commerce Minister by way of refund of 100% SGST (State share of Taxes) but on the contrary the State Govt. has backed out from its promise and assurances. It is needless to mention here that Industry in J&K is paying advance GST in shape of purchase of raw-material. They demanded to provide freight subsidy to all the Industries Units selling material outside the state without condition of 1000 KM. To provide full refund of SGST on invoice value i.e. 9% approx on Most of commodities, to provide 5% incentive on Sales within State in addition to value addition, to provide 100% refund on value addition on CGST as this incentive can be availed by only those Industry who purchase & sale locally only, 2% incentive on sales outside the state in lieu of CST exemption as declared & promised in Assembly session by Finance Minister Dr. Haseeb Drabu in his budget speech. |
