| Thatharka-Sangaldan road in pathetic condition, admin unmoved | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, July 28: Around 40 kms from district headquarters Thatharka village lacks many basic facilities, thanks to negligent approach of the district administration as well as the concerned departments.
One of the main reasons for underdevelopment of the village is poor road connectivity.
The work on this 6 Kilometer road connecting Thatharka to Sangaldan and other adjoining areas started around 10 year back by Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) but the construction work is incomplete due to the reason best know to the people sitting on the helm of affairs.
Many times people approached the concerned department besides the district administration but nothing has been done so far.
Nasir Ahmed a local said that the concern MLA making false promises for construction of this 6 Km road but nothing have been done so far. He appealed the district administration to look into the matter and start construction work of the road so that people may not suffer further.
Another local Jan Mohammad said that due to unavailability of road we have to pay extra amount for carrying goods which is a major cause of concern.
Moreover in case there is some patient in the village the villagers have to carry him on cart to the hospital, many time local administration visited the village and assured the early completion of construction work but still the work is incomplete. |
