Another J&K cop Shakeel Lone allegedly abducted by terrorists from Tral

Srinagar, July 28: Another Jammu and Kashmir cop has been allegedly abducted by the militant group from Pulwama district's Chan Kitar area of Tral region, South Kashmir. The incident reportedly took place on Saturday early morning hours when Special Police Officer (SPO) Shakeel Ahmad Lone was kidnapped.
Sources said that Shakeel worked as a cook in the Police department. However, this is the fourth such incident of kidnapping of Jammu and Kashmir's cops by the militants in last three months, raising the fear among the youth of valley who wish to join the police or armed forces.
"Terrorist group that tortured our colleague CT, Mohamed Saleem of Kulgam and killed him brutally are all trapped in an encounter with CRPF/ J&K police / Army in Khudwani, Kulgam," the Director-General police, J&K Police, Sheesh Paul Vaid had tweeted. The family of the abducted Jammu and Kashmir Special Police Officer (SPO) has appealed militants to forgive their son and allow him to return to his family.

In an emotional video that has gone viral on social networking sites, the mother of the SPO, surrounded by other women, appeals to militants to release her son for Almighty Allah's sake.
According to her, Mudassir had already quit his job, and had come back home. She adds that he was to declare the same last Friday in the mosque, however, he got engaged in some work and didn't get time. "You are also my own children. I request you to kindly set him free and he will quit the job and apologise for all his mistakes."
