Early Times Report
Sunderbani, Aug 5: Not budging down to the felony committed by a school teacher in Middle School upper Barnara, tehsil Sunderbani where he beat a class 5th student Anjili and took to refuge from the education higher ups, the issue still is live with government also playing on wrong foot to save the culprit.
Gulshan Kumar, a teacher in Middle school, upper Barnara was held guilty of beating a class fifth student and when she along with her mother approached the school administration last month, the teacher openly and brazenly called both mother and daughter for bearing loose character that sent shock waves in the whole village .
When the father, Devraj of the abused child approached the school for justice for her child and wife, he was assured that a committee will be formed to look into the grievance.
The committee constituted under the presiding officer Principal Ramesh Chander Sharma ( Incharge ZEO) Sunderbani Tasil called the teacher for furnishing the details , but along with it , the principal also made it sure that a large number of people may gather in the school to favour the crook teacher.
But people allege that incharge principal who is also ZEO Sunderbani Tasil owned a notorious character for not attending to his educational and academic duties and remain indulged in petty illegal works in connivance with the teachers.
Meanwhile, the education department formed another committee headed by Ravinder Khajuria ,principal Sunderbani B H S S. alongwith another Headmaster of Higher Secondary School Sunderbani Tasil to look into the grievance.
The people of the area have alleged that the committee formed under the president ship of Ravinder Khajuria is all likely to favor the culprit Gulshan kumar as Ravinder Kjhajuria enjoys very close liaison with the ZEO and all likely to get his support and hence the victim is all likely to be marginalized again .
Also the teacher Gulshan Kumar is already under the scanner for bearing immoral character and one of the FIR's against his name stands lodged at Police Station Sunderbani also The people of Barnara after knowing that a fifth class student has been charged with bearing a characterless nature have come under great shock and disbelief and have raised voice against the Chief Education Officer Rajouri to take prompt action against the accused.
People have alleged that this committee is also an eyewash as it will support the culprit and leave the victims hapless .
They have demanded that an independent committee having no concern with Education Department be formed so that justice may be delivered to the victimized family where a culprit teacher has branded a minor girl and her mother as loose characters.
