Poonch, Aug 5: Tehsil Supply Officer Mendhar whose tenure has been almost completed irks the locals for one reason or the other source said here today. Ab Khaliq TSO Mendhar, who has been suspended several times far misappropriation of government funds was hand in glove with the then Director Food and Supplies Mohd Azam Inqlabi who has been helping him to get reinstated with in a period of one month only source said. Source said locals lodged a complaint earlier against TSO Ab Khaliq who was not providing them the ration for three months. On the public complaint he was suspended by the then Director Food and supplies Poonch Mohd Azam Inqlabi but with in one month same director reinstated him on what grounds are not known
If any official in Government department is being suspended and FIR stands registered against him manages restoration of his service is no less than a puzzle and men at helms may have found it relevant by referring to some legal term cannot be ruled out.While talking to Assistant Director Food and Supplies to Early Times that an inquiry was initiated against Ab Khaliq and later on he was registered by the then director Food and Supplies Azam Inqlabi. Though the duration of his suspension is not known but his salary will be with held till further orders he added. Meanwhile social activist Mushtaq Ahmed urged district authorities that such tainted officials should be shifted to some other place as they trouble people for no reasons. |
