Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 7: A deputation of Apex Body of General Line Teachers Forum under the Aegis of its State President Neeraj Sharma along with all the office bearers and Core members today met with Rakesh Kumar Srangal Director, School Education, Jammu at his office and submitted a marked copy of memorandum of demands signed by the Advisor to the Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai to Director School Education for the early redressal of various demands for the larger interest of teaching, non teaching and student community.
Neeraj Sharma had a detailed discussion in this regard. The main demands discussed with the Director were constitution of Departmental Promotion Committee to confirm all the Lab Assistant, Junior Assistants etc. who are working in their own pay and grade since 2014 without any service benefits and eagerly waiting for their confirmation from the last four years and also demand to issue directions/orders for Charge Allowance in their favour, till the confirmation of their promotions by D.P.C. The second main demand discussed was the inclusion of names of all the Lab Assistant in the functional promotion list of Teachers at par with their juniors, whose names were dropped in the recently issued promotion list of teachers. Neeraj Sharma further raised the issue of Transfer orders of Teachers serving in the hard zone of Rajouri District, which was kept on hold by the Director due to some misleading and misguiding reasons presented by some selfish persons and demanded the same should be reinstate, without any further delay for the larger interest of students as well as teaching community, as it is the legitimate rights of all teachers working in the hard zone to be transferred to soft zones after being served more than one year in the hard zone as is clearly mentioned in the General Transfer policy vide order No 622.
