POONCH, Aug 7: Despite a lapse of seven years the construction of mini-secretariat in sub division Mendhar is far away from completion, sources said here today.
Work on this dream project started in 2011 and its project cost was Rs 14.10 crores. Funds to the tune of Rs 7.12 crores were sanctioned for this project. The money was spent on raising up the triple story structure of mini-secretariat. The people of Mendhar sub division were hoping that the dream project will become a reality one day as all the offices of the sub-division will function from this building which has state of art architecture, but due to lack of funds the construction work has stopped. Talking to Early Times, AEE PWD Sub-division Sarfaraz Ahmed said that the work on the ground would be completed in shortest possible time. He said that as soon as the required funds are made available the construction of the building will be completed in stipulated time frame. |
