| Department of Psychology inaugurated at GDC Ramnagar | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, Aug 9: The Department of Psychology was inaugurated at GDC Ramnagar in a simple ceremony. Dr. Ravinder Kour, HOD Department of Psychology from GCW Parade Jammu was special guest on the occasion.
The programme started with the welcome address by the Principal of the college Dr. Yash Paul Kundal in which he welcomed and thanked the special guest Dr. Ravinder Kour for sparing her valuable time for gracing the occasion for the motivation of the novice students. He also stressed upon the need of the hour to start such an important subject. Dr. Sakshi Angurana, HOD of the Department, briefed the students about the scope of the subject. The invited guest in her keynote address introduced the students and staff present about the various nuances and importance of psychology as subject and also clinical psychology for the health of individuals in particular and society in general. In the valedictory part the students presented the culture of the area through traditional folk songs and Bhaakh in particular by Dr. Pankaj Sharma and the Folk singers group of the College. The program was attended by many a students and staff members of the college. The entire programme was anchored coordinated by Dr. Pankaj Sharma. |
