Chander Mohan quits PDP, joins independent candidate with 400 workers

Reasi, Aug 30: Independent Candidate from 58 Assembly Constituency Reasi received shot in the arm when PDP District General Secretary Reasi Chamnder Mohan along with his 2 Block Presidents , 2 Ex Block Presidents , youth Presidents and around 400 workers joined the team of Saraf Singh Nag in Reasi today. Hundreds other workers of BJP, NC Congress and prominent citizens of Reasi also joined in a workers convention at Dak Bunglow here today.
Workers convention had been organised today in which workers drawn from Tehsils Pouni , Reas and Katra had assembled to highlight problems and hardships faced by public in their areas . Workers highlighted dilapidated condition of roads in the Constituency. Reasi Panasa road, Bakal to Lamsora road , Gran Tote Road , Kainthgali Bhomag Road, Moungri Ladda road and Dera Baba Shapanoo roads are in shambles and public is suffering immensely.
People complained about shortage of staff in all interior Schools. There are dozens of Primary and Middle Schools in Reasi Constituency which Urdu teacher and children are being deprived of the Education in Official Language of the State.
Workers highlighted shortage of Doctors and Medical Staff in Hospitals and Medical sub Centres in the Constituency. Medical Care facilities in Old Hospital Reasi and Distt Hospital Reasi are in pity State and needs to be strengthened by the Govt at the earliest. People complained regarding irregularities in prioritization of PDS rationees as many deserving poor have been left out of the priority target categories and poor are deprived of the benefits.
People from many villages of Reasi Constituency complained of non implementation of Central Sposored Schemes like Deen Dayal, Soubhagya. Many villages are living in darkness due to non-availability of Electricity. MGNREGA payments have not been released in many blocks of Reasi Constituency and poor labourers have been suffering badly for the last one and half years
