Get vacated encroached SIDCO land, BBIA urges Govt
8/30/2018 10:57:53 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 30: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) today demanded action against land grabbers who have encroached upon SIDCO land.
According to press release, a meeting of BBIA was held today under the chairmanship of Lalit Mahajan in presence of Suresh Mahajan Sr. Vice President, Ajay Langer, General Secretary, Viraaj Malhotra Treasurer, BBIA to discuss the Illegal Encroachment of SIDCO Land in Industrial Complex Bari Brahmana.
During the course of discussions, Lalit Mahajan raised the concern about the illegal occupation of SIDCO land by some persons by erecting temporary shelters on the SIDCO land in Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana resulting in the stoppage of construction work of SIDCO as well as unit holders to whom the land was allotted by SIDCO by investing huge amount. The position is more serious as the stray animals are openly moving in the Industrial Complex which creates Traffic hurdles, damage to the SIDCO Infrastructure and we fear that any fatal accident may take place at any time.
The matter was already brought into the notice of SIDCO Management but they have shown their Helplessness as the District Administration has failed to take any action in spite of repeated request and reminders by SIDCO authorities to the Deputy Commissioner Samba and concerned Revenue Officials.
The Members present in the meeting appealed Governor Satya Pal Malik with a humble request kindly intervenes into the matter and issue immediate orders to Divisional Commissioner, Jammu and Deputy Commissioner Samba to provide all sort of help to the J&KSIDCO authorities for the removal of the illegal structures from the SIDCO Land.
