'Inter zone district level athletic meet of Kathua'

Jammu, Sept 1: Dieshive Singh of Government Higher Secondary School Kootah continued his victory in Inter Zone District Level Athletic Meet being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Kathua for All Age Groups boys here at Sports Stadium Kathua. Earlier, Dieshive Singh was declared as the best athlete in inter school zone level and inter zone Clubbed Zone Level Athletic Meets organised by the department at Hiranagar. The meet is being organized under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kathua Subash Chander Bhardwaj. A total of 97 athletes of District participated in today's events. Under 19 years Boys Dieshive Singh of Zone Hiranagar got first positions in 100 metres race, 200 metres race and High Jump. Ankush Singh of Hiranagar first in 400 metres Race and Javelin Throw. Aman Kumar of Kathua, Moju Din of Zone Kathua, Ashiq Ali of Kathua, Ankish of Kathua, Rahul Singh of Basohli, Vivek Sharma of Billawar, Harsh Sharma of Hiranagar got first places in 800 metres race, 1500 metres race, 3000 metres race, 5000 metres race, Long Jump, Discuss Throw, Shot Put Throw respectively. Under 17 years boys.* Gurmeet Sharma of Kathua first in 100 metres race, Mohd Farman of Kathua first in 200 metres race, Mohd. Sharieff of Kathua first in 400 metres race, Saif Din of Hiranagar first in 800 metres race, Ritik Sharma of Hiranagar first in 1500 metres race, Talib Hussain of Kathua first in 3000 metres race, Mohd. Sharieff of Kathua first in Long Jump, Maskeen Ali of Hiranagar first in High Jump, Maheshwar of Billawar first in Discuss Throw and Javelin Throw, Mohd. Hakim of Billawar first in Short Put Throw. Under 14 years Boys Ram Krishan of Hiranagar, Shoukat Ali of Kathua, Vivek of Hiranagar, Sandeep Singh of Kathua, Parmodh Anuragi of Kathua, Amit Kumar of Hiranagar, Avnish Sharma of Hiranagar, Rohit Sharma of Billawar, Dimple Jasrotia of Hiranagar got first positions in 100 metres race, 200 metres race, 400 metres race, 600 metres race, Long Jump, High Jump, Short Put Throw, Discuss Throw and Javelin Throw respectively.
