9/2/2018 10:52:44 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Sept 2: Polaris India Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries Inc., grabbed podium with its dominating Polaris RZR 1000 in the 3rd Edition of the extremely challenging and grueling rally, India Baja 2018. Taufeeq Mughal of J&K made his comeback to the motorsport world after two years from Mountain to Desert rally and bagged the podium in Quad category on his Polaris Sportsman ATV.
Speaking on the occasion, Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director & Country Head, Polaris India Pvt Ltd, said, "This victory in India Baja 2018 is a matter of great pride for Polaris. The rally is a test of endurance even for the most experienced competitors as it requires time to adjust to the desert. I would like to congratulate Taufeeq Mughal on Polaris Sportsman ATV for displaying fantastic performance and providing us this lifetime motorsports experience." "Taufeeq while addressing media said," J&K state has a huge potential of Riders and Rally drivers. When youth of J&K opens his eyes he sees the road to mountains, mud and the slush. The Youth of J&K are better drivers and riders from rest of Indian States drivers and riders. It's unfortunate that some of the youth of J&K are into drugs. By performing these acts they trouble their family members and the society." "My message for youth is rather to die on drugs, is better to show their potential in adventure sports J&K in national games, exploring J&K which is still 80% more to explore. I give my word to Youth that respect the honor which will come to them from departments, family members and the society that time the youth will feel proud that we had done something for state and for country", he added.
